Filler dissolving is the use of hyaluronidase to break down and remove unwanted 

hyaluronic acid filler, restoring your natural appeareance.

Elective Filler Dissolving can be done due to multiple factors such as:​

• Migration

• Overfilled/Uneven results

• Lumpy Filler

• Wanting to restart, eg changing to russian lip filler

• Complications such as Vascular Occlusion

 

During your appointment a thorough medical consultation & intra-dermal test will be completed to ensure suitability.

Does filler dissolving hurt?

A topical numbing cream is applied to make the procedure more comfortable.

How long does it take to see results?

Results are visible immediately as the product is injected and starts to break down the unwanted filler, however swelling is expected post treatment so full results are visible within 24-28 hours of treatment.

Can I have the area refilled after a dissolve?

Yes! We would require you to wait 2-4 weeks post dissolving before we can safely add filler back into that area, the amount of time needed in between will be discussed and agreed at your dissolving appointment.

How many sessions will I need?

For the majority of people 1 session is enough to dissolve unwanted filler in a specific area, however if you have a large build up of filler or a very thick filler you may require more than one session.
